1977 Proof Fifty Cent

The Silver Jubilee fifty cent was issued to commemorate 25 years since the ascension of her majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse features 25 crowns around the circumference and the words SILVER JUBILEE 50 CENTS around the inner circle. The obverse features her majesty Queen Elizabeth II.Like most commemorative issues, the coin was often hoarded and as a result is quite common in mint state and still on occasion found in circulation today with its original mint lustre intact.
